Crest Factor Reduction for TD-LTE Base Station
TD-LTE system used orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM) transmission scheme.OFDM is a promising multicarrier modulation technique for high-speed communications 1.However,a major drawback of OFDM signals is their high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR).When design TD_LTE base station, the transmitters power amplifiers (PAs) are peak-power limited, the large PAPR leads to in-band distortion and out-of-band radiation.Although these problems can be solved by increasing the back off,it comes with a side effect of reducing power amplifiers efficiency.Crest factor reduction (CFR) technology can reduce the PAPR so that the back-off of the radio frequency power amplifier can be reduced. This paper describes a new PAPR reduction scheme for OFDM.By using space band spectrum, the schemes have lower EVM degradation.Simulation result show that 64QAM modulated OFDM system, the PAPR-reduction performance at 8.56dB,EVM at 1.1682%.
