Comparative Study on the Transaction Costs Incurred by the Changes in Instant Settlement System of Remote Medical Treatment under Basic Medical Insurance
Under different settlement system or settlement modes in medical service market, the transaction costs of health seeking behavior will change accordingly, which will influence the behavior choice of different subjects in the medical service market.This paper offers a research on the instant settlement system of remote medical treatment from the perspective of the transaction cost difference.A comparison of the changes in transaction costs of deferred settlement shows that the changes in the transaction costs of remote medical treatment are on the decline for the insured and remain insignificant for the medical service providers and uncertain for the management institutions of medical insurance.In accordance with the Kaldors Law, it is of prime importance to boost the institutional changes.
