Development of Efficient Design Synthesis Method for High Altitude Long Endurance UAV System

  This paper describes efficient design synthesis method of High Altitude Long Endurance(HALE)UAV system for surveillance mission.Database of HALE aircraft is established to correctly reflect the design trend,and the HALE UAV design concept is obtained by constructing the design flow and integrating the design analyses.The proposed design process reflects the effects of high altitude for the successful HALE design.Presented paper validates the design process by performing the design of a HALE UAV and by comparing the resulting design to the existing HALE UAV developed for high altitude,Global Hawk.
