Chinese Campaign-style Governance Model Acts on Anti-pornography and Anti-illegal Publications:Political Power as a New Approach
Based on official data and reports, this study sought answers on Chinese Campaign-style Governance Model (CCGM) in a larger context and analyzed the impact of dramatic social and ideological changes, and explored the double functions on constructing spiritual civilization and maintaining social stability specially served by CCGM.Applying anti-pornography and anti-illegal publications as a typical category to CCGM we hypothesize that CCPs political power usually be strengthened to accompany with resolving the increase of social problems in contemporary China.According to research, the propaganda systems are playing a key role to enhance CCPs ruling legitimacy by anti-pornography and anti-illegal publications.Cadre promotion are not demonstrated obviously in spiritual civilized construction system, the agendas of setting up social problems are fulfill with hollow features and the ways of resolving social problems involves of involution effect.The Party-state seems not continue to maintain its ideational influence effectively in society when its guiding ideology is a mish-mash of slogans that few understand or believe, and the institutional mechanisms for controlling and disseminating information are growing weaker over time if still exerting Campaign-style Governance Mode consistently in the field of anti-pomography and antiillegal publications.
