Massive Open Online Courses(MOOCs):Implications for Public Administration and Policy
This author has had the chance to analyze the impact of online education upon the field of public administration (ICPA 2009), the actual implementation of a hybrid public administration program (ICPA 2010), the way in which social media is impacting the field of public administration (ICPA 2011) and most recently the author analyzed the impact of teaching simultaneously in an online program, but also in a hybrid program, as well as in the traditional face-to-face classroom method; as well as putting up a website (ICPA 2012).This year the author will discuss the disruptive technology of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and how they will relate to the field of Public Administration and Policy.
