Selection of Chinas Urban Community Governance Models Based on Analytic Hierarchy Process

　　Urban community governance model has diachronic and synchronic characteristics.As a meta-governance role, the grassroots government should select the most proper community governance model, which can be the key to make this community reach good governance.By authors combing the related literatures, this paper contends that there are widely applied three types of community governance models, including autonomic, collaborative and cultivated models.Then, we establish a set of indicators to choose one of the three models according to the level of the residents sense of community and the degree of the social organizations (such as neighborhood committee, the homeowners association, etc.) independence in this community.Thus, we can use these indicators to select a proper community governance model.Finally, we adopt the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to select the proper community governance model, helping the grassroots government make a right decision on how to balance the relationship between them.
