On Chinas Export Food Safety Crisis Management Mechanism

　　With the emergence of food safety issues in international trade, Chinas export food safety crisis management mechanism has faced a series of problems such as weak convergence with WTO rules, insufficient risk assessment, and poor communication of export food safety information.There are two reasons for this.On the one hand, China has a weak awareness of food safety, so its regulation cannot be normalized; on the other hand, there is still a gap between China and the importing countries in regard to market access standard and detection technology of food safety, and therefore China is vulnerable to the attack of trade barriers.From developed countries experience in export food safety crisis management mechanism, China, in order to ensure the reputation and national interests of its export food in international community, should set up an independent regulatory agency of food safety crisis, improve relevant rules, and establish an aftermath management system on the basis of internationalizing its export food safety crisis management concept.
