The Countermeasures of Urban Empty-nestersPension Issue in Liaoning Province,China
Urban empty-nest families are the normal forms of the life cycle replacement, also the inevitable result of modemization, industrialization, urbanization.However, with the increase of urban empty-nest families size, it will inevitably influence the individuals, families, and society.Meanwhile, the increasing rate of urban empty-nest families will further intensify the existing pension contradiction in supply and demand, and affect social harmony and stability.This paper generates and summarizes the reason for the rapid increased of urban empty-nest families from two aspects.They are urban empty-nesters active and passive choices into empty nest.In addition, it analyzes urban empty-nesters pension problems, such as economic constraints, lack of life care; health problems; unsatisfied spiritual needs; imperfect government and social service systems.Finally, it puts forward solutions from four aspects.They are establishing the new community elder care service; accelerating the improvement of medical security system; offering a variety of spiritual careservices; and clear obligation of government support for the pension development.
