On Population,Resource and Environment in China

　　Population, resources and environment are the three major problems in society all over the world.As the developing country with the largest population, China is now faced with prominent problems of population, resource, and environment which constrain its sustainable development.In this context, studying resources and environment from the perspective of population and proposing countermeasures may help solve problems in resources and environmental protection and is of great significance for sustainable development.In the context of the actual situation of Chinese population, the study shows that population size, population quality, and populations consumption are major factors influencing resource and environment in China on the basis of analyzing data and literature.The study also shows that Chinas population size is too large and the resource is overused due to rapid population growth which leads to unreasonable industrial development and difficulties in environmental protection.Besides, low quality and morality of the population and excessive consumption have great influences on resources and environment in China.Finally, the study puts forward the countermeasures for reasonable utilization of resources and protecting the environment from the perspective of population.Specifically, we need to control the population size scientifically, improve the quality of citizens and emphasize cultivating leading cadres and citizens awareness in resources and environment conservation, and establish sustainable production and consumption patterns.
