Continuum models for dislocation arrays and dislocation structure of low angle grain boundaries
We present continuum models for dislocation structure and energetics of dislocation arrays and low angle grain boundaries which may be nonplanar and nonequilibrium.In our continuum model,we define a dislocation potential function on the grain boundary surface to describe the orientation dependent continuous distribution of dislocation in a very simple and accurate way.
