Dual Effects of the Online Political Participation and Governments Response in China
The political participation, as one of the basic characteristics of democratic politics, has become the important part in contemporary political development that cannot be ignored, while the network participation, as a new mode of political participation, has been gradually recognized by people with its advantage of the network in recent years. This article will be themed as political participation through network, to analyze either the content and the positive and negative effects of network political participation, and to focus on the protection strategy of citizens political participation from the government point of view in order to deal with some of the negative effects of political participation, allowing the government to better cope with the dual effects of political participation.
