Governmental Informatics: A New Discipline on E-government

摘要：

Governmental Informatics was an interdisciplinary science on e-government. In this paper, firstly the research contents of Governmental Informatics were elaborated, including the basic theory of egovernment, methodology of e-government planning and construction, related issues of e-government. Then the progress of Governmental Informatics research in the world was reviewed. Finally, some suggestions to carry out Governmental Informatics research were presented, such as setting up a reasonable knowledge structure, meeting the major needs of the country and using advanced research methods.
