Characteristics and Application Mode of Ethical Leadership
As a new leadership concept, the study on ethical leadership is still in the beginning stage, furthermore, the researches on the characteristics of ethical leadership, measurement methods and application mode are still in the exploratory stage, which needs further study. Previous studies have demonstrated that ethical leadership has significant positive correlations with leadership effectiveness, therefore, the study on this object will have very important practical significance and value. This paper is based on the perspective of the theory of social learning, starts from the definition of ethical leadership and then discusses the relationship and differences between ethical leadership and other major leadership theories as well as the characteristics and the application mode of ethical leadership, so as to offer strong theoretical supports to build the advanced leadership culture and advanced leadership management system with Chinese characteristics.
