Public Opinion Governance in Microage: Challenges Authoritative Management Mode Confront and the Solution
MicroAge, micro management. As the openness, globalization, interactivity and anonymity of the new media strengthen increasingly, reform deriving from grassroots is challenging authoritative public opinion governance mode continuously. Based on the background of the rise of new media, the article is carried out to investigate the challenges that public opinion governance will confront in MicroAge and the solution. First, research group will sort, compare the impacts of different new media on public opinion governance and study the roles they play in the process of public opinion supervision. Second, according to the qualities of new media, we will analyze the huge shock of them on traditional public opinion governance system comprehensively and severe challenges in MicroAge. Finally, research group will put forward specific solutions. By case analysis, comparative study, theory conclusion and scientific forecasting, research group draw a conclusion: network rumor deriving from the openness of new media, high-speed circulation ability deriving from interactivity and wide-range diffusing ability deriving from globalization may result in network chaos in MicroAge. Micro power has been changing public opinion management pattern, traditional mode cannot adapt to internal development law of new media. Government has to value the tremendous, bottom-up power from micro group and structure the pattern of co-governance including diverse forces. It is an inevitable choice for government to complete systemic change from traditional authoritative management mode to the pattern of national micro management, which is also the wise movement to deal with potential challenges.
