Study on Walnut Production Development in Hebei Province of China

摘要：

Walnut is one of Chinas major tree species of cultivated fruit trees in the nuts in the world, walnut cultivation has a long history in Hebei Province and is one of the main yield areas in China. According to the Forestry Bureau Statistics of Hebei Province, in 2011 the plantation areaes are 144,211 hectares, among which the thin-skinned walnuts have 20,000 hectares and its annual output of walnuts have 96,891 tons in Hebei. This article analyses the problems of the walnut industry in Hebei Province, and puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions.
