Study on Chinese Moderate City Size from Perspective of Low-carbon Growth in China

摘要：

The paper proposes some concepts and assumptions which include low-carbon growth, fundamental way to low-carbon growth, city size, area, fixed emissions of countryside and moderate city size. Then, the paper analyses the immoderate size of the Chinese city how to increase emissions of an area by transportation, lighting, elevator and refrigeration. In addition, the paper points out that the unreasonable interventions of all levels of government leads to immoderate city size in China after analyzing by economic approach, and states two detail ways of the unreasonable interventions of the governments. Finally, the paper suggestions all levels of Chinese government should distribute resources reasonably in an area and roll back various subsidies of people living in super cities, thus city size of China will be moderate. As a result, the emissions of China will be reduced.
