Microstructure and abrasive-wear behavior under high temperature of laser clad ni-based WC ceramic coating
The laser cladding is used on the surface of 4Cr14Ni14NW2Mo heat-resisting steel, Ni-based WC coating can be formed. Observing and analying the microstructure, measuring the hardness of the cladding layer cross section, checking the abrsrssive-wear under high temperature in different temperature. The results showed that the microstructure of Ni21+20%Wc+0.5%CeO2 cladding layer is small and it presents the best abrasive-wear behavior under high temperature in these investigated coatings. Wear mechanism of the laser cladding layer changes with temperature changes.
