Properties of thermally sprayedNiCrBSiW + UDDP coatings
The article discusses the possibility of using powders UDDP (Ultra Dispersed Diamond Powders) formed as a result of the high energy synthesis of mixed and detonated carbon and explosive materials. Powder with a particle size of about a few nanometers has been galvanically plated with nickel, mixed with the NiCrBSiW powder and finally detonation sprayed onto the surface of 17CrNiMo6 steel. The thickness of the sprayed layer was about 100μm. The research consisted of microstructures observations on metallographic surfaces and intermediate zones between the coating and the surface. In order to examine the wear resistance of layer, the friction test was performed using method of 3 rollers and cone. The research consisted of testing samples under two different loads: 50 MPa and 400 MPa. During research a lubricant oil SAE15 was used, dosed at a speed of 30 drops per minute. The results are presented in Lorenc graphs.
