Analysis of several test methods about heat insulation capabilities of ceramic thermal barrier coatings

摘要：

According to service condition, the effects of insulation of thermal barrier coatings based on zirconia and the differences of several test methods were analysed. The results have shown that the data of heat insulation capabilities depended on the different methods. Yet the variation tendency of those data were agreed, there was a linear relationship between thickness and insulation advantages of thermal barrier coatings in their applied range. In order to assess the effect of insulation better, the methods that close to practical use conditions were recommended.
