Study on hydroxyapatite coatings prepared by hydrothermal-electrochemcial deposition Method
Hydroxyapatite coatings were successfully prepared on Ti-6A1-4V alloy electrode by the hydrothermal electrochemical deposition method with constant potential condition. The phases of deposits were analyzed by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). The microstructures of hydroxyapatite coating were observed by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). Results showed that the phases and morphologies of deposits were influenced by electrolyte temperature (100℃, 120℃, 140℃, 160℃, 180℃ and 200℃). The crystallinity of HA in the coatings increased with the increase of electrolyte temperature. There is hardly little of HA crystal deposited on the Ti-6A1-4V surface when the electrolyte temperature is 100 ℃. The HA deposition increase with the increase of the electrolyte temperature. And the morphologies are influenced obviously by the temperature.
