Network API: A Solution of Smart Pipe in Telecommunication Network
With the rapid development of smart telephones and advanced services offered by operators,it is important to guarantee quality of service for users of high priority in the resource limited telecommunication network. This paper analyzes the smart pipe concept proposed by corporations and experts from telecommunication and other areas,and then summarizes them. Then,we propose the network API as a solution for smart pipe and do research in its mechanisms including routing mechanism,forwarding mechanism and caching mechanism. This paper described the cache replacement policy as a solution for differencing the service provision for clients so that the smart pipe is achieved.
