Survivability Evaluation of Cluster-Based Wireless Sensor Network under DoS Attack
Survivability of Wireless Sensor Nerwork(WSN) can be defined as the capability to fulfill its mission, in a timely manner, in the presence of attacks, accidents and failures. In this paper, we propose a survivability model for WSN, in which the state of each cluster of a hierarchical cluster based WSN is regarded as a stochastic process based on semi-Markov Process (SMP) and Discrete Time Markov Chain (DTMC). The isolation problem between clusters is discussed. Then quantitive survivability is obtained based on k . connectivity. Numerical results show that our model is effective.
