Existence of Positive Periodic Solution of an Impulsive Delay Competition System
In this paper, we study the existence of positive periodic solution and permanence of an impulsive delay competition system in a periodically changing environment. The mathematical problem involves a coupled Lotka-Volterra system together with time delay and impulse conditions. Based on the results obtained for the corresponding logistic equation, a monotone-iterative scheme is established to obtain the existence of the positive periodic solutions of the competition system. Moreover, we also show that the system is permanent under the appropriate conditions. We extend and improve some results given in 1.
