3D Surface Texture Editing Using Lifting-based Wavelet Transform

This paper presents a new method for 3D surface texture editing by using lifting-based wavelet transform. New texture images with different illumination directions are generated by modifying the lifting coefficients vectors instead of pixel gray values. Further more, integer pixel lifting allows precise reconstruction. Experimental results show the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed approach.
