Remote Sensing Comprehensive Prospecting Information and Gold Metallogenic Predication in Dongyao Village, Wutai County
Wutai Group in Wutai Mountain area in Shanxi province is the typical regions of Precambrian in China. The gold mineralization point and gold deposits in Wutai -Hengshan region are particularly developed. Using high spatial resolution Quickbird data of the Dongyao village gold mine region, and all data of Landsat7 as the source information, the author analyzed the differences of spectral characteristic from different remote sensing images of the region and, by the way, extracted the existing geological, geophysical and geochemical exploration information, and the remote sensing mineral exploration feature information which was extracted from the research area, including lithology, structure, mineralizing alteration etcetera. The author has found two best future target regions for prospecting, which further provides a good base for this region both on basic information and scientific basis for the geological survey and the remote sensing exploration model.
