Evaluation of Ecosystem Services of Weihais Forest
Weihais forest ecosystem services were evaluated based on the evaluating models from Specifications for assessment of forest ecosystem services in China. The ecosystem services values of weihais conifer forest, broadleaf forest and conifer and broadleaf mixed forest are 2.93 billion RMBY. a~(-1), 5.25 billion RMB￥.a~(-1)and 1.23 billion RMB￥.a~(-1) respectively and the total value of Weihais forest is 9.414 billion RMB￥.a~(-1). Among the total value, the value for water conservation accounting for 30％ of the total value is the largest, and the value for biodiversity protection with 27％ of the total value and the value for C fixation and O_2 generation with 25％ rank second and third respectively; the percentage of the value for air purification is 13％ and rank fourth; the values for soil conservation and forest protection are the smallest with the percentage of 5％ and 1％ respectively. The values for air purification and forest protection were underestimated due to the shortage of some data and the difficulty of evaluation methods.
