Statistical Analysis of the Influence of Floods on Chinese Economy
Floods have been one of the most serious disasters affect Chinese economic development. The direction of our future efforts is to identify the regularity of its occurrence and the relationship between the affecting factors. In this paper, I establish a national floods losses econometric model according to Gross Domestic Product, the affected population, the death toll, the affected area, and other relevant data with multivariate statistical analysis method, and amend the model selected with appropriate methods. Finally analyze the modified model, and present our floods disasters response.
