Spatial Statistical Analysis of Economic Development Level in Jiangsu Province
Using the statistical data of 2008 in Jiangsu Province, research units are county administrative regions, 22 indexs which reflect the level of economic development are selected, 4 principal components are extracted by factor analysis, obtaining the composite scores of every county(county-level city,urban area).The results show that economic development of Jiangsu Province presents a clear gradient feature; The composite scores of every county(county-level city.urban area) are analyzed by spatial statistical analysis method. The study indicates:globle Morans index is 0.4696 which shows that the economic development of Jiangsu Province presents spatial aggregating feature in the mass, north part of Jiangsu Province shows low-low agglomeration in the economic development level;and south part of Jiangsu Province presents high-high agglomeration in the economic development level.
