How to Shorten Product Development Cycle -The Case of INT Co.

摘要：

The aim of this paper is to conduct an in-depth study on shortening product development cycle in IT industry. The main objectives of this case study includes finding out which factors cause longer product development cycle and bringing up solutions to shorten product development cycle. The case study reveals that irrational resource planning and utilization for project planning and developing, incorrect product development process implementation, inefficient project management, ineffective product strategy planning and ineffective management and collaboration between different product development centers are the main causes for longer product development cycle. Considering the factors affect product development cycle, we bring up four solutions to shorten product development cycle.
