The Construction of Parallel Process Model of Industrial Design

摘要：

In order to make the industrial design better meet the requirements of new management and technology and give full play to the role of product innovation, the paper conducts a study on industrial design process by applying management theory and method of concurrent engineering (CE). The paper suggests that that the traditional sequential process of industrial design should be recycled, and presents new ideas of comprehensively utilizing the parallel project and industrial design enabling technology, to integrate the sequential process of industrial design and re-organizing the parallel process of industrial design, then to deepen the research on industrial design in concurrent design process of product. The article also finds that under the concurrent design of product, the function of industrial design is extended, and its role of leading product innovation is also improved.
