Analyses of Failure in Enterprise Performance Management
As one of the important way to improve the efficiency of enterprises, performance management takes an important role in specifying employees behavior, encouraging employees initiatives. But in reality the implementation of the enterprise performance management has not achieved ideal effect. Through systemic analyses, this article summarizes the causes of failure in enterprise performance management as following: no combination between enterprise performance management and the enterprises mission and its long-term development strategy, lack of active participation from senior leaders in performance management, ignoring to train the main body of performance appraisal before appraisal, omitting the performance communication, short of practicability in performance indicator, insufficient use of the result of appraisal, and lack of a solid foundation in enterprise management, and so on.
