On the Cultural Concept Reflected in Package Design of Festival Commodity
Festival culture has always been a hot topic in modern design, and in Chinese history, it can also be found in the major schools of thoughts. As the retrieval of traditional culture is advocated nowadays, this paper introduces the origin of the modern festival culture starting with the study on traditional thoughts, and offers a detailed analysis of the ideological and historical content reflected in the package design of festival commodities today. This paper aims at providing a theoretical direction and reference to package design of festival commodities and making it more standard and mature in practice.
