Design and Realization of Intelligent Test System Based on TEDS and Matriz Switches

There are many shortcomings in the tradition testing systems, for example requiring manually to configure the signal conditioning circuit, manually to input parameters to complete engineering unit conversion, this paper will propose a solution based on TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheets) and matrix switches.When sensor was calibrated, the relevant characteristic parameters would have been stored in the TEDS medium;the characteristic parameters of each sensor was read into the system during the systeM initialized and guided the system auto-complete the work such as conditioning circuit configuration, engineering units conversion and sensor data correction. Experiments prove that the introduction of TEDS and matrix switches technology improve the automation degree of test system significantly and make sensors plug-and-play come ture.
