Study on regeneration behavior of iron ozide sorbent with different binders for hot gas desulfurization
As a Country with big stored-coal, the development of Integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC) will largely increase the efficiency in the power plant and decrease the environmental pollution from the power plant; and the Research and Development of hot gas sulfur removal sorbent is one of the key technologies of IGCC. The most difficult controlled problem in the hot gas desulfurization in IGCC technology is pulverization and regenerative ability for hot gas desulfurization sorbents. Selecting different natural argillaceous minerals as the binders of hot gas desulfurization sorbents can solve the pulverization problem. In this paper, author studied the regenerative behavior of six sorbents with different binders were prepared by mechanical mixing method. Regenerative behavior of sorbents were investigated in a fixed -bed reactor. Under the condition of space velocity 2500hr-1, O2 concentration 2% and regeneration temperature 750 ℃, the behavior of regeneration for different sorbents was investigated. After selecting the optimum sorbent, the regeneration behavior of the optimum sorbent in continuous sulfidation-regeneration circulation and the regeneration behavior of different preparation condition of the sorbent are investigated as well. The result shows that Hot gas sulfur removal sorbent which promoter is clay has been regenerated completely and can be used in several continuous sulfidation-regeneration circulation. The different behavior of regeneration for the sorbent is showed in the different preparation condition of the same sorbent.
