Mechanism of Damnification on Pulmonic Cells Induced by TDI and the Differences between Male and Female

Currently, the research on indoor air pollution had become one of the hot subjects in the field of environment science. Toluene diisocyanate was a kind of indoor air pollutant with low toxic, but the most toxic in all diisocyanate esters, which was recognized as a kind of industry allergen. It was studied in this issue that the effect of toluene diisocyanate ocontent on superoxide dismutase, malondialdehyde and glutathione in lung tissue from the perspective of oxidative daminification and the impact on DNA, RNA in pulmonic cells of TDI with laser confocal scanning technology. And it was also discussed the difference between male and female on toxic effect. The results showed that the content of MDA in the lung tissue had increased significantly, while the contents of SOD and GSH had declined to different degrees. As a result, TDI led to the toxicity of lung tissue through the mechanism of oxidative damage. The RNA/DNA ratio in pulmonic cells had increased significiantly after being exposed to TDI, which means TDI could inhibit DNA synthesis. Furthermore, there was a difference between the dosage needed for causing damage in male and female. The amnification on male was larger. Confocal laser scanning experiment showed that, TDI can cause the content changes of RNA/DNA in the lung cells. TDI had certain influences on the nucleic acid metabolism and the synthesis of DNA inside the mices lung cells.
