Ezperimental study on Comprehensive Properties of new suspended medium
The new suspended carrier that made up of EVA, rubber, active carbon and inorganic powder was explored under the producing test. The components and process condition of suspended carrier had the important influences on physical properties, such as true density; wear resistance, bulk density and settling velocity. The optimize prescription of EVA rubber, grain and active carbon was defined by 200~300, 1000, 0~50, and extrusion velocity was 18n/min by experimental study. Three kinds of suspended carriers that had been explored in above condition were selected to do biofilm-growing and treatment efficiency experiment in the bioreactor. The results showed biofilm could grow on the carrier quickly. It takes 3~4 days to begin to appear biofilm. The growing-up duration of biofilm is about 20 days. When the system is in a state of stabilization; the disposal rates of COD and NH4-N are above 90% and 75% respectively. The new carrier is suit to the growth of bacterium that fits to treat water with high capacity of NH4-N.
