CONSTRUCTION OF ONLINE CONTINUOUS CHROMATOGRAPHY SYSTEM USING MONOLITHIC COLUMN FOR SINGLE CELL ANALYSIS

Demands on speedy chromatographic separations of bio-related substances without loss of samples are increasing in the fields of proteomics. In addition, the system with sensitive detection of cellular components without loss of samples has been required. The online chromatography system including the invasive disruption of cells, extraction of cellular contents, and their separation, is appreciated for this purpose. In the first step, we examined a cell disruption method with a femto-second laser. The analyte extracted from a living cell is load on a monolithic cartridge directly for the chromatographic separation method. The monolithic column has been developed as a speedy separation medium with a low-pressure drop and exhibits the potential for high efficient separations. We have developed these analytical methods with offers of various choices of analytical systems according to the samples and purposes.
