An Application of Ontology in Collaborative Learning

Collaborative learning is a kind of group learningmode. It emphasizes the communication andcollaboration among group members. Currentcollaborative learning systems havent reached a highintelligent degree, and some problems such as dynamicgrouping have not been solved well. Dynamic groupingrefers to the problem that how the members who areinterested in the same subject can form a learning groupdynamically. In order to solve this problem, this papercomes up with a method using ontology-OBDG (OntologyBased Dynamic Grouping) Method. This method canimprove the intelligence of collaborative learning system,and experiment results show that it can solve the dynamicgrouping problem.
