Modeling and Application of Shape Memory Alloy Based on Hysteretic Nonlinear Theory and Data Mining
In this paper,a kind of Shape Memory Alloy(SMA)model based on hysteretic nonlinear theory and datamining was developed and applied in vibration controlon rotor system with SMA bearing.Nonlineardifference item was introduced to interpret thehysteretic phenomenon of SMA.Arctangent functionwas introduced to describe the variation of SMAstiffness with temperature.Based on above,all ofpossible items in the model were found and stepwisemultiple regression method was applied in finding thefinal relationship among strain,stress and temperature.Finally the stability and the bifurcation characteristicof rotor system with SMA bearing were analyzed Theresult of significance test shows that the effects of all ofthe items in the final model are remarkable,whichmeans that the model can describe the strain-stresscurves of SMA in different temperatures well.The newSMA model broadens the region of controllingtemperature,admits the existence of control error,andis easy to be analyzed in theory,which is helpful tovibration control.
