Degree-optimized LMPT Topology Control Algorithm of Wireless Sensor Networks
Aiming at problems of communication conflict andnetwork performance degradation resulted fromexcessive neighbor nodes,we present a Degree-optimized LMPT topology control algorithm ofwireless sensor networks.The algorithm builds theminimal energy topology based on shortest path theory,simultaneously uses the relative neighborhood graphmethod to control the number of neighbor nodes.Thetheoretical analysis proves the connectivity and degreebound of topology derived under our algorithm.Theexperiment results show that the topology hasadvantages on node degree and transmission powerefficiency,as well as smaller path energy consumption,which can help improve the network performance andprolong the network lifetime.
