Distributed Knowledge Management for Collaborative Design
Collaborative design is a new method to meet therequirement of increasing competition in market,which can deal with different resource and variousinterests to attain a good result.Distributed knowledgein collaborative design is an important problem tocomplete design.A knowledge management system(KAM)is developed to share knowledge of varioussections to meet the need of knowledge interaction.Firstly,concepts of collaborative design are given,which includes conceptions design,detail design,design analysis,assembly analysis and resultevaluation.The knowledge of the experts should beinteracted to make the information transmittedsmoothly among varied activities.Secondly,distributedknowledge management is present.The knowledgebased on ontology,knowledge capture and knowledgesharing are constructed for distributed knowledge. The knowledge management work model and thedistributed knowledge management framework arepresent for collaborative design,which achieve theintegration.At last,framework is realized based on themethodology.
