Automatic Segmentation of Kidney without using Contrast Medium on Abdominal CT Images

摘要：

Automatic kidney segmentation from abdominalcomputed tomography(CT)images is a key step incomputer-aided diagnosis for kidney CT.However,due to gray levels similarities of adjacent organspositions and shapes,automatically identifyingabdominal organs has always been a highchallenging task In this paper,we proposed anautomatic segmentation method integrated someprior knowledge into traditional segmentationmethods.Experimental results are comparable tothose of manual tracing radiologist and shown to beefficient.
