EXPERIMENT STUDY ON IMPACT DAMAGE OF PBX EXPLOSIVE AND ITS MOCK MATERIAL

摘要：

Polymer bonded explosive (PBX) is a kind of condensed explosive composed of explosive granules and polymer.In this paper,impact damage is produced by driving a flyer with light gas gun impact samples of PBX9159 explosive and its mock material.Impact pressure is measured by manganin gauge.Damage mode of explosive and its mock material under impact load is analyzed by SEM.Two materials have brittle material character from photo of SEM results and experiment pressure curve.We can substitute PBX9159 with mock material to study PBX9159s mechanical property.
