THE STUDY OF MESO STRUCTURE AND FAILURE FEATURE OF LIQUID RUBBER CONCRETE BASING ON THE RANDOM AGREGATE MODEL

Liquid-rubber concrete is a new material for pavement of steel bridge deck.In order to investigate its mechanical properties especially failure features,the meso-structure is studied in the present paper.The digital image processing is adopted to analyze the microscopic structure of the liquid-rubber concrete.Based on the results obtained from image processing,a two-dimensional random polygon aggregate meso-structure is generated with Monte Carlo method on the meso-level.The failure process is simulated with FEM.Experimental data and the numerical results showed the feasibility to predict the static mechanical properties of the liquid-rubber concrete with the developed random aggregate model.
