Study on Safety Exploiting Depth in Deep-Lying Mining

摘要：

In deep-lying mining, there should be a safety exploiting depth where the mining will not cause destructive deformation to constructions on the surface. Based on the calculating method of deformation value of any point on the surface and the critical deformation value of the surface, the method to determine the safety exploiting depth is obtained. Then starting from the stability of strip coal pillar in deep-lying mining, the safety exploiting depth in strip mining is analyzed and its formula is worked out. Also the factors that affect safety exploiting depth discussed.
