Polyfluorenes Minimally Doped with 1,4-Bis(2-thienyl-2-cyanovinyl)benzene Chromophore: Their Synthesis,Characterization, and Application to White-Light-Emitting Materials
Over the past decade, a lot of effort has been devoted to the design and preparation of organic semiconduct -ing polymers for diverse applications in electronic and optoelectronic devices; including polymeric light-emitting diodes (PLEDs),1 transistors,2 and photovoltaic cells.3 Recently, white polymer light-emitting diodes have attracted particular attention because of the potential applications. Many strategies have been utilized to generate white light in PLED, such as the simple blending of red, green and blue light-emitting polymers.4 However,phase separation between different polymers is the key problem that needs to be addressed.
