The Experimental Study on the Suppressing Technology of Explosion of the Poly-ingredient Explosive Gases by Nitrogen

The process of the combustion and explosion of the poly-ingredient explosive gases is complex and the correlative theory about its qualitative and quantitative analysis is absent. Based on the theoretic analysis and lots of experimets,the suppressing explosion technology of such poly-ingredient explosive gases as the artificial coal gas and the liquefied petroleum gas was research by adding nitrogen as the inertia media to explosive field to change the explosion limits of the poly-ingredient explosive gases in this article. The results indicated that the suppressing effectiveness by adding the inertia media was affected by such factors as the chemical property of flammable gases and initial reaction temperature.The concentration of inertia media for the liquefied petroleum gas was greater than the artificial coal gas and increased with initial reaction temperature.The effect on the suppressing explosion by initial reaction temperature was different for different explosive gases and was more effective for the upper explosion limit than the low explosion limit.
