An Automatic Measurement Method for IF LFM Signal
Intermediate frequency linear frequency modulated (IF LFM) signal has been widely used in radar, for it has precise measurement on targets speed and distance. However, how to measure signals characters, such as frequency center ( 0 f ), bandwidth ( B ), the frequency change rate ( u ), instantaneous frequency ( i f ), is still difficult. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes an automatic measurement method for IF LFM signal, which mainly uses the properties of IF LFM signal autocorrelation. It can measure those signal characters automatically and precisely, and it has been verified successfully in a certain IF LFM signal.
