Energy Management Standards in Progress: Overview and Notes from the Netherlands Long Term Agreement Perspective

International Energy Management Standards are in progress. National experiences from many countries will give input to these efforts. In the Netherlands the Long Term Agreements with industries implemented energy management. The experience was used for the European Intelligent Energy for Europe BESS project: Benchmarking en Energy Management Schemes. This paper describes energy management within the Netherlands and how the BESS project made web based e-learning tools to implement and work with energy management thus giving input to the international standardisation efforts.
