Flexible QoS Multicast Routing Based on Ant Colony Algorithm in IP/DWDM Optical Internet

摘要：

This paper investigates flexible Quality of Service (QoS) multicast routing in IP/DWDM optical Internet. Given a multicast request, an algorithm is proposed to find a flexible QoS multicast routing tree based on Ant Colony Algorithm (ACA),and assigns wavelengths to the tree with the help of the wavelengthgraph.Itintegrates routing and wavelength assignment into one single process that supports load balancing as well as flexible QoS, with the purpose to minimize the tree cost and maximize the degree of user satisfaction on the QoS.Simulation results show that the ACA-based scheme is both feasible and effective.
